Is there a RAM memory slot in the QNAP series TS-x64, TS-x64U, and TS-x64eU?

Despite official information from QNAP that the NAS model series TS-x64, TS-x64U and TS-x64eU do not have RAM slots and therefore no RAM upgrade is possible, we show using the example of the TS-464-8G that the device can be expanded to 64GB with two 32GB phs memory modules. Many other NAS models also have upgradeable memory slots!

In our overRAMing test, we were able to successfully prove that the new motherboards with Gemini Lake processors not only allow a maximum of 8GB as described in the manual.
