Computer memory Fujitsu D3279
The memory increases the RAM memory of Fujitsu D3279 by 128GB. The offered memory is a DDR4 RAM memory. Further technical memory specifications can be found in the list on the right. This computer memory was tested by us for Fujitsu D3279. This ensures that this memory expansion can also be utilised together with the original RAM used in D3279.Information on memory configuration
The following technical specifications should be considered in advance:
- The system supports RDIMM and RDIMM 3DS (Registered DIMM) or LRDIMM and LRDIMM 3DS (Load Reduced DIMM) memory modules. Large memory capacities can be realised with LRDIMM 3DS modules.
- RDIMM and RDIMM 3DS memory modules cannot be operated together with LRDIMM and LRDIMM 3DS main memories.
- If a memory expansion is to be made with the already existing RAM memories, it must be checked which basic memory technology (RDIMM / LRDIMM) is available.
- Memory slots without a processor may not be used.
- If memory modules are provided with higher speeds than specified by the system, the memory speed is automatically adjusted to the system specifications.

The Fujitsu D3279 can be upgrade to a maximum memory capacity of 6TB / 1,5TB according to manufacturer. This is more than Fujitsu has listed in their technical specification. There are different reasons, why more memory is possible:
- improved production processes in the memory technology enable higher memory capacities
- new BIOS-Version support higher memory capacities
- the information of the Fujitsu datasheet concerning the maximum RAM amount for the D3279 is not up to date.
