The Tyan S7002-LE can be upgrade to a maximum memory capacity of 256GB / 64GB according to manufacturer. This is more than Tyan has listed in their technical specification. There are different reasons, why more memory is possible:
- improved production processes in the memory technology enable higher memory capacities
- new BIOS-Version support higher memory capacities
- the information of the Tyan datasheet concerning the maximum RAM amount for the S7002-LE is not up to date.
