The memory increases the RAM of your Intel S5500HV server by 32GB. The offered DDR3 RAM memory has a speed of 1333MHz PC3-10600R 4Rx4 (4DRx4 DDP). These are RDIMM (ECC Registered) memory modules. The memory has 240 Pin DIMM and works with a voltage of 1,5 volt. This computer memory was tested by us for Intel S5500HV. The Intel S5500HV can be upgrade to a maximum memory capacity of 288GB / 144GB according to manufacturer. This is more than Intel has listed in their technical specification. There are different reasons, why more memory is possible:
- improved production processes in the memory technology enable higher memory capacities
- new BIOS-Version support higher memory capacities
- the information of the Intel datasheet concerning the maximum RAM amount for the S5500HV is not up to date.
