If your system is limited to a slower memory speed, the "Fallback Speed Setting" in the SPD of the phs memory® RAM-Modules ensures the support of slower memory settings down to the given memory speed.
Why is the maximum RAM amount of phs memory® for G1602 higher than the maximum RAM limit listed by Nexoc?
The Nexoc G1602 can be upgrade to a maximum memory capacity of 64GB / 32GB according to manufacturer. This is more than Nexoc has listed in their technical specification. There are different reasons, why more memory is possible:
- improved production processes in the memory technology enable higher memory capacities
- new BIOS-Version support higher memory capacities
- the information of the Nexoc datasheet concerning the maximum RAM amount for the G1602 is not up to date.
