The server-RAM memory expands the memory capacity of Asus ESC4000 G2 by 8GB. The offered DDR3 RAM memory has a speed of 1600MHz PC3-12800R 1Rx4. These are RDIMM (ECC Registered) memory modules. The memory module has 240 Pin DIMM and a voltage of 1,5 volt. This computer memory was tested by us for Asus ESC4000 G2. This ensures that this memory expansion can also be utilised together with the original RAM used in ESC4000 G2.Information on memory configuration
The following technical specifications should be considered in advance:
- In the device, you can install RDIMM (Registered DIMM) or LRDIMM (Load Reduced DIMM) RAM memory modules. LRDIMM memory is recommended when aiming for large memory capacities.
- RDIMM memory modules cannot be used together with LRDIMM memories.
- If a memory expansion is to be used with existing RAM memories, it must be checked which memory technology (RDIMM / LRDIMM) is already installed in the device.
- Memory slots without a processor may not be used.
- A higher memory clock of the memory module automatically adapts to the memory clock specified by the system. This can be the case especially with larger capacities.
- When using 4Rank (4Rx..) RDIMM memories, only 2 of 3 memory slots can be used per memory channel.
