The DFI BT101 can be upgrade to a maximum memory capacity of 16GB / 8GB according to manufacturer. This is more than DFI has listed in their technical specification. There are different reasons, why more memory is possible:
- improved production processes in the memory technology enable higher memory capacities
- new BIOS-Version support higher memory capacities
- the information of the DFI datasheet concerning the maximum RAM amount for the BT101 is not up to date.
