Our customers often ask what they should do with the old memory they have removed. Therefore, we now accept your old RAM for recycling.
For all functional memory modules, you will receive a value voucher that you can redeem on your next order. You can also pass the voucher on to a friend or acquaintance.
Reasons why you should not throw away your old memory:
1. To Protect the Environment
Old memory can contain toxic substances harmful to the environment and should not simply be thrown in the regular trash.
The production of electronics is energy-intensive, often requiring very rare precious metals. Additionally, toxic waste may arise during production.
2. Old Memory Modules Still Have Value
We support your environmental commitment by offering you a value voucher of 5.00 Euros for your next purchase in the online shop at phs-memory.com for your old, functional memory modules. All functional memory will be passed on to remarketing partners. Defective memory modules will be disposed of properly by us.
3. Recycling
The valuable materials from old memory modules are returned to the recycling loop. Through proper recycling, metals and raw materials are separated and can be reused for other products.
How to return your old memory modules
1. For each memory module purchased from us, you will receive a “recycling ticket” with the delivery of your new memory modules. For orders with more than four memory modules, a maximum of four recycling tickets will be issued.
2. For each received “recycling ticket,” you can return one memory module to us.
3. To help us assign your return, please fill in your email address and invoice number in the appropriate fields on the “recycling ticket.”
4. For sending back, you can simply use our packaging material or package it properly in another way.
5. Send your memory modules, sufficiently stamped, marked “Recycling,” to the following address:

6. We will test the memory module and send you a voucher within two weeks. This can be redeemed on a future order at phs-memory.com within 6 months. The voucher is transferable. Cash redemption is not possible.
No Value Voucher Will Be Issued:
Defective memory modules will be disposed of properly by us and sent for recycling. In this case, we unfortunately cannot send you a value voucher.
In the event of a return of purchased memory modules and a refund of the invoice amount, the value voucher becomes invalid and can no longer be redeemed.
